In fall of 2022 Gabe Joyes introduced me to his love for SCARPA shoes and within a few months put me in touch with their athlete coordinator. I had the opportunity to try multiple styles and have loved all of them and appreciate have a renewed quiver of shoes to both encourage and support my on-going training. Pro-Tec is a Seattle based company that works to help athletes, period.  Their line of products communicates the company goal - to keep us on the move.  A few of their bands, primarily the Patellar tendon strap and IT band compression wrap, have been the solution to help me to the finish line of a couple of key races (namely the Grand Slam 2005) and aided in keeping me training when the knees want to flare up.  In 2017 I had an ankle sprain that took me out for 6 weeks. The new 3D Flat Ankle Support offered compression and a good reminder when I did get back to running.
